Krisssss 2 : The plot is out
Krisssh 2 : The sequel to Krissh : The sequel to the sequel to Koi Mill gaya
I met met this guy in Tabla Flavours . He looks at the Netflix DVD's that I'm carrying along to be mailed back and starts talking movies. He has views and opinions about Hollywood movies , and HongKong movies movies , and it turns out that he's scouting for talent to star in the sequel to the Bollywood movie Krrish !!! Anyways , enough about him and here are some points of the plot that he told me Rakesh Roshan has planned for Hritik :
The movie starts off with the news that Priya is dead and Hritik is married Kareena. Apparantly , Rakesh Roshan didn't want an actress who would steal the thunder again from Hritik.
Krrish has had enough with Earth and decides to explore the Universe. Apparantly, Rakesh Roshan decides that international settings are ancient ideas , and the wave of the future is inter-galactic settings.
Kareena and Krrish have a couple of songs on some planet with weird gravitational forces such that the human body keeps to the ground , but the female human's dress keeps flying up ( a la 'Woman in Red' ) . Rakesh Roshan wanted Krrish's dress also to fly , but was advised against it by Kareena Kapoor's Mom.

Aamir and Shahrukh Khan to make a more serious bid at the Oscars next year.
Just found this interesting forwarded mail and thought worth blogging ..so here goes !
Don't know how far its true , was just forwarded this mail from a friend in India saying this article was to be published on some major Bollywood site , but was yanked at the last moment because some Hollywood big-shots didn't want some big secrets to be out so soon :

The news is out. India's official entry for the Oscars , 'Paheli' failed to impress the Academy of motion Pictures and couldn't get into the nominated list. This has been a major setback for the likes of actor ShahRukh Khan who wanted to beat Aamir Khan to the Oscars.
In 2001, Aamir Khan starrer 'Lagaan' bulldozed its way into the Oscar nominations with the actor's mighty lobbying , along with some inside help from some British movie people. However , it ran into the wall of movies like 'No Man's Land' and 'Amelie' , and the Oscar dream came to an abrupt end.
However, Aamir got busy with his own little projects like 'Mangal Pandey' and 'Rang De Basanti' , but with little success. In fact 'Mangal Pandey' is reputed to have not recovered the costs of its elaborate marketing on the American TV channels itself.
Not the type to easy give in , Aamir has been studying Hollywood movies closely and is convinced that he can crack the formula for getting into not just the 'Best Foreign Film Category' , but also the 'Best Movie' category. Bollywood insiders are talking about how Aamir has spent the last year looking that the formula of 'Million Dollar Baby' and comparing it to 'Lagaan' , to find out exactly what was lacking in the latter. He and Asutosh Gowarikar have finally hit upon what was wrong with 'Lagaan'.
"American audiences don't like winners" , Gowarikar said emphatically , referring to the fact that in 'Million Dollar Baby' the boxer does not win the final bout ,while Lagaan ends with the happiest possible ending. Aamir Khan was more jubiliant and forthright with their findings and what they plan to do about it. "We will be re-making 'Lagan' and this time it will be about 10 times more forceful". Yes, their new movie is going to be 10 times more forceful than 'MDB' ( Gowarikar has problems with the whole name, so Aamir has 'invented' this new name for 'Million Dollar Baby' , and hopefully the world will like it ).
How can they do it ? Can they really do it ?
"Yes , we will re-arrange 'Lagaan's plot , so that the Lagaan team has to play a series of cricket matches against British teams rather than just one. They will thrash BIG superstars of the English Cricket Countie League. But they will lose the last match , because a BIG English evil bowler will smash all the 11 batsmen's heads. The last moments of the movie will be 10 , rather 11 times more touching than MDB."
Aamir's eyes show a hint of a tear as he describes what they both have come up with for the climax. "All the 11 players are shown in hospitals , their faces in fractures with a heart-wrenching A.R. Rahman song playing in the background with one musical instrument for each player. With the cacophonous song in the background , their white woman coach has to go around pulling their plugs so they die in piece." While Aaamir was narrating this story in a choking voice, Gowarikar's eyes been un-controllably overflowing with tears. In a faint voice , he says "We'll show you what true film-making is , Cleastwood !" On being asked if they have thought up a name for the movie , Aamir Khan's face lights up with a faint smile and he says "Yes. The Mona Lisa of all movies will be called 'Lagan 2: THE MILLION DOLLAR BABAS' "
